Summer's End

So were finally coming close to the end of Summer 2011. Soon the weather will change, school will begin,  and the leaves will turn into multi-hued colors of yellow, oranges, and reds. Along with these changes comes new tv shows (yay!) I watch some tv (not all) but I have friends that are huge tv junkies and watch every show out there! I know summer doesn't offer as many varieties so I know the premiere of many shows have fans anxiously waiting for it.

Dancing with the Stars

ABC's Dancing with the Stars will be premiering the 13th season on September 19th and there are several stars rumored to compete this season,including: Khloe Kardashian, Nick Jonas, Queen Latifah, and most recently rumored, Kristie Allen! I wonder what stars will really come on and shake it- guess there is only one way to find out.

Two and a Half Men

Okay, so honestly I have never gotten into the show, but now that Ashton Kutcher will be on it, I may have to get started!! The new season is to start September 19th*Spoiler Alert* Rumors are they are killing off Charlie Sheen's character, and of course Ashton will be taking his place. I can't wait to see how the season turns out!

Glee

Oh yes, I have been waiting for this day since season 2 ended. We all know that this is the season where some of the biggest stars: Finn, Rachael, and Kurt were rumored to leave, but thankfully it has been cleared that it is not true and the stars are to stay for further seasons-joy! What will season 3 bring us-can't wait!

The New Girl

Fox's New Show, The New Girl, looks very promising. I am a huge Zooey Deschannel fan and cannot wait to see what she has to bring to my Tuesday 9 pm openings. Show is schedule to premiere Tuesday, September 20th. 

Modern Family

Season 3 is set to premiere Wednesday September 21st. I can be in the worst mood but this show is really a fresh breath of air in the comedy genre--love it!

The Vampire Diaries

The release date is Thursday, September 15th-and I cannot tell you how long I have been waiting!! The ending of Season 2 had everyone on the edge of their seats. Let's see what twist and turns happen this season with all our favorites...counting down the days..

Parks and Recreation

So I got into this when I was sick with pneumonia this past winter, and I am so happy I did. The producers of The Office, succeed once again with this all time classic sit-com. If you love The Office, then you'll sure love this show-I recommend! Release date is set for Thursday, September 22nd: mark your calendars!

The Office

Speaking of The Office, Season 8 will also be premiering this September! What's to happen in the office now that Michael Scott is gone? Who will be the new manager, new office pranks, etc.? Only one way to find out! And personlly I can't wait to see John Krasinski on the screen again...how I have missed him!

Calling All Gleeks

Okay, so if you know me then you know I am a huge gleek and of course I have the biggest crush on Cory Monteith (mmm). Check out his interview from last night on Fallon to promote the Glee 3-D movie coming out August 12th, and only in theaters for two weeks! So sad I will be gone for it. God, I love this man...

Beauty & Brains

Whether he stole your heart as the dead guy in Lost, or as the witty, dangerous, whole-hearted vampire on Vampire Diaries, or maybe even in his first movie, The Rules of Attraction, Ian Somerhalder is a celebrity worth noting. Aside from those mesmerizing baby blues or that defined, greek, masculine jaw- he has way more to offer. Today, I had the pleasure of attending and witnessing Ian's Testimony to Congress. The Actor-Activist spoke about the protection of numerous animals and getting the U.S to focus on this issue as well.

 "Looking around the world at these wildlife, it’s abundantly clear that humans have benefited from nature in so many ways but have also brought many species to the brink of extinction…The American people that I interact with through my IS Foundation work do not want to allow this to happen; they do not want to let these species go without a fight; and they see the way in which nature provides for people around the world. This is an issue that Americans care deeply about, and it is critical that the United States, as a world leader and global power, continue to lead the planet’s efforts in global species conservation.”

Impressive right? Not only is he everyone's favorite vampire (well top favorites) but his passion and drive to save the environment is a true inspiration to all. His aim is to get his fans to start feeling the same passion and to support the reauthorization of conservation funds, asking them to send a message to Congress in support of the bill and urge representatives to take action immediately.

On his 32nd birthday, he launched his own environmental campaigan: The Ian Somerhalder Foundation or the IS Foundation, a foundation to raise awareness on the environment and animal-cause. Okay ladies, if you weren't in love with him before...this had to do the trick.  It is for this reason my friends and I have stalked..I mean visited him so many times. Okay all you TB lovers, I know that yesterday's episode has everyone on a major high! FINALLY the long awaited kiss happened!! All you Team Eric fan's are probably jumping off the walls anticipating more Sooric love scenes *sigh*. Since it is well, only Monday, I have decided to create this little post to discuss and vent about all our thoughts until next Sunday. Who is your Favorite Telly Duo?

So just a few weeks ago I got into NBC's The Office (I know super late) and let me just tell you how much I am in love with Pam and Jim. They are by far my top favorite tv couple (well aside Eric and Sookie from True Blood, Finn and Rachael from Glee, Carrie and Big from SATC or Rachael and Ross from Friends).
