DC Eats

Okay, so anyone who knows me knows I love a good meal....daily. Working for catering for the past 2 years has introduced me several people who know a lot about food, and I am talking about good food. Here is a list of places I have tried or have been urged to try, right here in DC. Thought I would share!

Graffiato
Mike Isabella, from Top Chef, opened his first restaurant in Chinatown. Apparently the brick-oven pizza's are to die for. I've been meaning to go for awhile, anyone want to join me, let me know!

Shake Shack
I recently tried this burger joint and think its a must-try! They recently opened up a spot in Dupont. If you're stopping by, get a shake with that burger--so good.

Ben's Chili Bowl
In business since 1958, in the same location on U Street, Ben's Chili Bowl is not just a restaurant- it a U Street landmark. If you're ever bar hopping or just in the area, forget the charm- eat chili.

Crepe Amour
One day as I was walking around Georgetown, I stumbled across this little joint and instantly fell in love.  The menu offers from savory to sweet, which is the the toughest choice! If you're ever on M Street, stop by and try for yourself.

Astor Mediterranean
Located in the heart of Adams Morgan, I've heard raving reviews about this place.  A combination of Middle Eastern, Greek, and Mediterranean food sounds promising. Next time I am in the area, I will have stop by and try it out.

Any other places you know that are good in the area? Let me know, I am always up for trying a good eat!
